i just wanted people to know this is a real nice place but they are sending out letters to some making u prove u are who u are and u get what finacial help u said -my sister had to send in info which was ok cause she needed this phone but i just wanted to let others know just in case..i guess they said they are getting too many people who cant prove who they are or what they get and they disconnect the phone right away!

ok i did this and so did a couple of my friends. its for low income familys and those who recieve any kinda assistance from the government.

www.safelink.com when you recieve the phone it shows you how to add the minutes. mine i just have to have on on the 1st and it adds 81 minutes. but they add minutes every month and you dont have to pay for any of it. not saying its a cool phone or anything because its not. but it helps those who would need to be able to make a call in a emergency. hope this helps you guys out.

I just tried this again, and it said I was approved and they would be sending the phone out in 5 to 10 days.

I got this when it was posted last time and it has been a lifesaver!! My kids now have a way to get a hold of me in emergencies!!

my son lost mine they keep sending me emails saying to turn it on to add the time on it but cant turn it on if i cant find it lol
