Really bad Walgreens coupon experience

I went to Walgreen's and they wouldn't let me use ANY coupon with register rewards. This was the first time I ever tried to use coupons at Walgreen's, and they gave me the worst time. When I said I didn't want the items, and told them that I would go to CVS instead, since they would definitely honor my coupons, they implied that I was cheap! The two employees at the register made such a big deal about me deciding to not buy the items. I knew my coupons were valid, and it was just the concept of the matter. Now I am peeved with their customer service as well. Also, the only other employee in the whole store did not speak ANY English, so when they came over to see what was going on and I didn't speak Spanish, they just started speaking louder and louder, like that would magically make me understand what she was trying to say. I kept my cool, but the employees caused a scene over the stupid coupons- and i was embarrassing!.UGH! This is the second chance I gave Walgreen's to make shopping with them a decent experience, but they totally FAILED. I will not be back to Walgreen's for a while. Has any1 else had a similar experience??

wow. well a few of us have some pretty sucky walgreen's, but yours wins hands-down. that is beyond ridiculous. just out of curiosity, what state are you in? i was in mine tonight and i swear, if you ask five employees the same question, you will get five different answers. it is very frustrating.

i had an awsome experience at walgreens. i had a coupon for 2 for 1.00 paper towels and they let me keep the coupon and use it as many times as i wanted. i also had one for 20 free digital prints and i got to keep and use that one too. and the cashier was really nice. im sorry you had such a bad experience at walgreens. i know some cashiers can be a pain......

back in July i think when the BIC hilighters were on sale for .49 at walgreens and there was a $1.00/2 for print. I went to one walgreens and they had no problems takein the coupon they had to do some adjustments for it to take but the manager was nice about it. Then I went to another walgreens and it wouldn't take and the manager there gave me all kinds of crap ove rit. I told them the one down the road just took it and he said to me maybe you should go back there.
