Ach....I just got a very rude, nasty, psychotic e-mail from Schnecken Connection.

Ok. So this is what happened...

I was reading one of the posts in the Forum that mentioned free samples from Schnecken Connection. So I went to their website & ordered a supposedly 'free' sample. I then get an e-mail asking for shipping payment. I then write back (two sentences), saying that I was disappointed. Then tonight I get an excessively long & weird e-mail (four paragraphs) in which she (I forgot her name) insults me ("You're just trying to get something for free"...yadda yadda yadda). Mein Gott!! Soooo unprofessional! Really, is this any way to run a business or treat a potential customer??

What a horrible company!

wow!! some of these companies are just appalling at how they treat potential customers!! why offer a sample offer only to treat people in this fashion for wanting to try the product?!?! like that freaking CRAZY candle lady!! she was a fruitcake!!

I had no problems with the Schnecken people at all. When I got the email about paying for shipping, I just ignored it and went on about my day. I figured if they didn't want me to try their product, it was their loss. But then I got another email, like 10 minutes later, telling me to ignore the previous email, that they were sending my sample. I got a USPS shipping conformation the next day, then got my schnecken 2 days later. They are even working with me to place my order, because they use paypal but I don't have a paypal account. Very nice people.

well, whoever wrote me back was cuckoobananas (I should have saved the e-mail, but I was so miffed I deleted it.)

Anon: Good for you! Atleast someone had a good experience with them. (Btw, how was the Schnecken? Please don't say it was delicious...then I'll be really JEALOUS!!) Argh!

Leigh: what happened with the candle lady? Sorry if you already wrote about it: if you don't want to write it out again, could you direct me to that post/message? Thanks! :h5:

I'll just say, that their schnecken was the absolute best I have had since I moved away from Germany.

I will not say that it was delicious.

Oh. My. Goodness. I just figured out that if I click on "View My Posts," I can easily respond to the threads that I contributed to!!! Gee, I'm such a brainiac!! HAHA! No wonder I was having a hard time keeping track...uh duh dum dum...

Now I feel really bad, thanks guys! You've had your delicious schnecken, and I'm left here, mourning my schneckenless existence. :wtc:

oohhh! Did you study in Germany? Where did you live in Germany? I studied in Vienna, Austria (after high school) & took several train trips thru Germany (one in particular: from Vienna thru Bayern to Köln to the Nethlerlands.) My German stinks, but it was a fun experience! I never had schnecken while there - but I loved those Sachertortes and Mozart's "Balls" - HAHAHA!
