Yeah, I wish we could, too. How many ounces is it? There was a 50 cent off coupon in my paper on Sunday for 64 oz bottles.
I don't think my Walgreens would even have 26 bags of cough drops!! :eek3:

I can't stand cough drops either! I don't think I have ever had one that tasted descent. I buy them for my local food pantry. I wish there was another link for the laundry soap too. I want to check out the Crest Pro Spinbrush and I'm hoping my Walgreen's has the razors with the free music downloads inside.

What is RR?
RR is Register Reward. If you buy certain things at walgreens, the RR spits out at the end of your transaction. It is like cash for use only at Walgreens on your next purchase. Some Walgreens allow you to use only 1 RR at a time. Some allow more, someone else will have to tell you how that works, I THINK its based on the # of items you have. for some reason I can't remember.
Hope that helped a little bit!
Oh, you can find what items give you a RR in your sale ad, also if you go to iheartwags.com they have a list of all available RR.

There are too many choices for me this week! I want:
Ped egg & refills
Maybelline
Arm & Hammer detergent
Schick Titanium
tape
Dove shampoo
I have to figure out how to get it in groups of $25 so I can roll the $5 RR.
On hotcouponworld people are reporting that the ped egg which is 9.99 and the refills are ringing up at 9.99. Then it's taking the 9.99 off at the end. So, basically:
egg 9.99
refill 9.99
detergent 6.99
coupons:
- 9.99 refill
- 4.00 (walgreens q for detergent)
- 1.00 mfq
total 10.99 get 5 RR back
I don't have detergent qs, but I have 5RR from last week so I'm going to have some fun. I think I'll study up on it tonight and go shopping tomorrow.

question (i forgot how the coupon rules at wags):
can you use more than one of their coupons?
lets say if i buy four A&H detergents, could i use two of the coupons on their catalog (since limit is two)??

Yes! And if there is no limit.. you can use one of their coupons for as many items as you want. I guess they are pretty smart about that... that way we don't destroy two books in order to buy two of the same product.

Well, I did 5 transactions. The first three each consisted of 26 bags of cough drops. I paid $10.73 with my GC, got $5.00 RR and will get back $10.00 with an ESC MIR. The other two transactions included 2 bottles of Arm & Hammer, 2 packages of Bald Guy stuff, 3 12-packs of diet Coke, 1 Crest weekly cleaning/whitening toothpaste, 2 Sure deodorant, and 1 Schick razor. I utilized my GC on all 5 transactions, spending $59.76. I will get back 40.98 in MIR, and I received $17.00 in RR, of which $15.00 in RR is really free money. So, bottom line, I have an OOP cost of $3.77. Yeeeehaaaa!!!!!

Well, to begin with, I can't believe your store had 26 bags of cough drops, let alone 3 x 26 bags of cough drops. Then I can't believe you could check all those out. I would die of embarassment! :eek3: But, what I really wanted to ask/say is how are you getting that much back on the gift card? For some reason I figured you could only do it once. Do you get your gift cards recharged to different addresses or something?

I made a purchase for myself and my sisters made the same purchase on the cough drops for a MIR on their cards, except they gave me the cough drops they purchased for my donation. I of course, am the mastermind behind it all and they love that I calculate out the deals weekly and benefit as much as they do. When I can work a deal like the cough drops and they don't want the product, they give it to me and they are grateful for what they get that week. I bought the Bald Guy stuff and of course, will never use it, but my sister's husband will. So, she not only got one free on her card but mine as well. My Walgreens must have had 200 + bags of cough drops, in different flavors, for our purchase didn't even make a dent in their stock. I wasn't embarrassed at all. I made my purchase to give as a charitable donation and I although there are many times people look at my purchase and wonder what the heck, I know my efforts are for a good cause. I work every possible deal and get everything and anything free that I can get, for even though I would never use 98% of what I work a deal on, I know there is someone out there who will have a need for it. Don't be embarrassed when making your deals. The retailers know about couponers like us. Besides, your not stealing. You are paying good money. The fact that we made $15.00 in RR and that we will get $30.00 back in MIR on my card and my sisters' cards is total bonus. The RR's are free money and I will spend it on more things to donate. I think 99.9% of those who look at what I buy and comment have very positive things to say when I tell them I give it to my Pastor for Milwaukee's homeless. So, don't be embarrassed. Work every deal possible that you can afford and know that you are doing good for you and your family, and that if you buy something you would never use to make a better deal for yourself, I'll bet you too, would give it to someone who needs. it. :wiggle:

Thanks for explaining this. I wondered how you got the 3 $10 MIR. I have to admit that I bought about 80 bottles of Robitussin. I have a box for every person in my family (I'm going to give it to them at Christmas, but not "for" Christmas) and then I gave the rest to my mom to take to her church. She was telling me the other day about this woman who came to the clothing room and her kid was sick and my mom got to give her some pediatric Robitussin and she was so excited. I was, too. And I also got to give some stuff away to a woman on freecycle. She really just needed maternity clothes, but I found out she needed a lot more stuff so I gave her shampoo, etc. It's a good feeling. I can't wait for Christmas because I am making gift baskets and that will clean out my closet and then I can start over again.

So, I think they are slightly different. I just wanted someone to double check the products. I think the people on HCW are going to have to be returning some stuff. :D

I had 4 different transactions and I already realize I wanted some Loreal lipgloss that I forgot to get.
The ped egg & refill only rang up at 9.99 together so I had to do some re- figuring at the store. I had Maybelline $4 lipstick coupons. There was a lipstick for 5.49 so I got some overage with those.
So, the ped egg thing didn't work?

Not for me. They rang up the egg 9.99 then the refill 9.99. The register immediately went -9.99 gift. I was so unprepared for that so I was throwing all kinds of other stuff on to there to get it up to the $25. Naturally, it was the day the deaf checker was working. Something always happens when he checks and I am acting like a chicken with my head cut off at his register. He's always nice about it but I feel like a fool. I had my 4 kids with me then so I just left and went back later and did a few more transactions.
I can't figure out the A&H detergent. They had a 50 oz bottle with a blue lid that said it was 32 loads. Then they had a 50 oz bottle with a white lid and it said it was only 26 loads. They look identical, though.??

I don't remember the different color lids, but I did notice that some had 26 loads and some 32 loads, each being a 50 ounce bottle. What I did notice was the 26 load had a bleaching additive and the 32 load one did not.

I did notice that, too. It's a color safe bleach, right? I"m too lazy (and cold) to run downstairs and check it. Does anyone else know off the top of their head?

Well, I didn't know where else to post this without starting a new thread. I remember asking about the rebate before, and when I put my receipts on tonight, this is what it said.
https://easysaver.walgreens.com/images/highpriority.gifYour receipt information has been saved.
You can add more receipts later, "Review & claim," or we will automatically process your rebates once the claim period ends. Please allow 7 to 12 days for processing.
Explains why my rebate was automatically put through, and to let everyone else know, in case they forget to to submit. As long as you put in the receipts before the time, they will get sent! As for RR being used more than one at a time, like I said, it must be the cashier, because the guy tonight saw I was holding one that my hubby got buying a camera :D and I got, and he told me I could use it too even though I had used my 6.00 one. I then got another one from my order
